One year ago....

This is what we were experiencing a year ago today...

http://luchtadoption.blogspot.com/2009/02/more-details.html

I can't fathom that it has been a year that we first saw Silas' almost-4-month-old face. I can't believe he will be 16 months tomorrow. I can't believe that I'm his dada. I can't tell you how good of a mama Amber is. I can't believe how well he's doing. I can't believe he's been home almost 8 months. I can't believe how loud his mad scream is. I can't believe how much joy he brings me. I can't believe how much I love him. I can't believe we'll be starting the process again in a little over a month and Silas will be a big brother to a sister.

Here is one of the first pictures we saw of Silas...

Here is a picture of Silas tonight ... we celebrated by going out to eat Greek. Poor Ethiopian :). Then we stopped by Sonic and got a Blast and we all shared the ice cream (picture of Silas after eating ice cream ... he shared our joy of the dessert. (and you can see his first molar on his bottom right side...)

And here is a video of Silas doing his latest thing he's learned ... circles! :)

It's amazing the difference a year can make. Jeremiah has the crazy loud mad scream going for him too. Good times!

He is so precious! I cannot wait to see what our little Elijah will look like and especially what it will be like one year from when we got our referral. Your family is such an inspiration to us and we are so thankful to have you as friends.
Blessings,
Amy

It's amazing isn't it. Amazing and eight months in, still so uncomprehendable.

I can't believe you're starting again! Wowzers. And a girl, too! It will be so fun to countdown with you. Yay for more babies!!!
